About Chance
and his vision

Chance was born on June 23, 1997, and in his short but impactful life, he exemplified honesty, kindness, and a strong desire to help others. Having faced his own challenges growing up, Chance dreamed of making life easier for those in need. In high school, he discovered his passion for building affordable homes through a building trades class, envisioning a world where everyone could access stable and dignified housing.

Although his life was tragically cut short on February 6, 2015, Chance’s dreams live on through The Chance Collective, founded by his loving mother, Julie.

This company is a tribute to his vision, continuing his legacy of compassion and hope by creating homes and habitats that transform lives and communities.
